Chili / Chili con Carne is the favorite cold-weather dish of a lot of people. Some prefer it mild; others prefer heat cooked in. The kind of heat that warms your mouth as well as your tummy. All agree it’s their go-to dish for the cold weather.
Recenter has joined other members of the Party Sober Partnership in sponsoring its annual H-Town Sober Chili Cookoff on Saturday, February 25th starting at 10 a.m. and going to 4 p.m. Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy some chili and cornbread. Although admission (and food) is free, we ask that you register so that we don’t run out of chili or cornbread.
The gang at Recenter will surely form some cookoff teams to compete in the contest. There are 5 different areas of competition:
• Best Texas Red
• Best Chili with Beans
• Best Vegetarian Chili
• Best Overall Chili
• Best Overall Cornbread
